The man behind the Pac 10

Pac 10 Larry Scott has been serving as the Pacific-10 Conference Commissioner since July of 2009. Before capturing the Commissioner title, Larry Scott was a professional tennis player, a Chairman and CEO of the Women's Tennis Association and a President of a division of the Association of Tennis Professionals.

As a college student at Harvard University, Larry Scott studied European History and was a captain of his tennis team. Scott later graduated and became a professional tennis player, winning one doubles title and the 69th world ranking. Larry Scott retired a few years later to take over a Presidential role for a decade and, eventually, the Pac-10 Commissioner title.

Larry Scott is the sixth commissioner for the Pac-10, taking over for Tom Hansen who had run the conference for the past 26 years.
